Il più in voga è Valentino Rossi, campione mondiale di motoGP, considerato da alcuni come il migliore pilota della storia del motociclismo. Il più famoso è senza dubbio Valentino, (l'Ultimo Imperatore!), stilista di fama internazionale. Andando indietro nel tempo abbiamo Rodolfo Valentino (1895 - 1926), attore e primo ''sex symbol'' nella storia del cinema, Cesare Borgia (1476 - 1507), crudele principe rinascimentale, figlio di Papa Alessandro VI, soprannominato Valentino per il suo possesso del ducato di Valentinois, e, finalmente, ''il più dimenticato'', San Valentino da Terni (ca. 176 - 273), vescovo e martire, patrono dei fidanzati e dei matrimoni felici. February 14 is Valentine's Day. In Italy we have five famous ''Valentino''.
The coolest one is Valentino Rossi, motoGP world champion, considered one of the most successful motorcycle racers of all time. Undoubtedly the most famous is Valentino, (the Last Emperor!), world renowned fashion designer. Going back in time we have Rodolfo Valentino (1895 - 1926), movie actor and first sex symbol in the history of cinema, Cesare Borgia (1476 - 1507), cruel Renaissance prince, son of Pope Alexander VI, nicknamed Valentino for his possession of the Valentinois duchy, and, finally, the 'most forgotten' San Valentino da Terni (ca. 176 - 273 AD), bishop and martyr, patron of engaged couples and happy marriages.
