In Italia si ha una relazione formale con le ._._._._._._._. che non si conoscono o con le quali non si ha familiarità (un ._._._._._._._._._._.. un accademico, una persona più anziana), e una relazione amichevole con ._._._._._. e ._._._._._._._.. In Italy, you should have a formal approach with **** you don't know or with whom you are not well acquainted (a **** , a professor, an elderly person...), and an informal approach with **** and **** .

In una situazione formale "diamo del Lei" cioè invece di usare "tu" (es.: tu sei, tu mangi, tu hai...) usiamo Lei con il verbo alla terza persona singolare (es.: Lei è, Lei mangia, Lei ha...) In a formal situation we "give/we use She" that is, instead of "you" (e.g. you are, you eat, you have ...) we use She with the verb in the third person singular (e.g. "Lei è, Lei mangia, Lei ha" = She is, She eats , She has... meaning: You are, You eat, You have)
