In the Tutored Courses (12 asynchronous sessions and 6 1-hour audio/video classes) students from all over the world meet the CyberItalian teacher online.

 

The tutored courses include weekly instructions, access to all the CyberItalian interactive lessons, 6 special assignments and other educational materials provided during the course.

For the 6 Special Assignments the students are required to post in the Class Forum the written replies to the questions from the teacher; the teacher will post the corrections and feedback in the Class Forum and in the student's report card. Beginner students have to write a minimum of 80 words per assignment, Intermediate students have to write a minimum of 100 words per assignment, Advanced students have to write a minimum of 140 words per assignment and all students can write a maximum of 250 words per assignment.

 

 

For the 6 real-time audio/video classes, students meet with a CyberItalian teacher on an audio/video conference system (with whiteboard and co-browsing). Each student introduces him/herself and participates in the conversation with the teacher. The conversation include the topics presented in the sessions. The Class Forum is accessible online anytime. Students post questions and assignments in the Class Forum, receive answers and corrections, and interact with the teacher and with other students.

 

Students see their grades and the personalized feedback in the Student's Report Card.

Students are evaluated through six special assignments and a final exam.

 

Upon successful completion of a course, students shall receive the CyberItalian Certificate of Participation.

Upon successful completion of ALL courses and exams (Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Advanced 1, Advanced 2) students shall receive the CyberItalian Certificate of Study.
If you are an advanced student you can receive the CyberItalian Certificate of Study upon successful completion of the Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 tutored courses.

 

Please note: If you want to obtain a language proficiency certification officially recognized by the Italian government, you have to take the CELI exam (provided by the University of Foreigners of Perugia) or CILS exam (provided by the University of Foreigners of Siena). These exams can be taken in Italy (at the Universities for Foreigners of Perugia or Siena) or outside of Italy (at the Italian Cultural Institutes available in more than a hundred cities in different countries). Other universities are now offering official certifications.
