Alcuni studenti non amano la grammatica perché la trovano difficile da capire. Ma la grammatica è solo un mezzo che ci aiuta a parlare, nient'altro. Ad esempio, conoscere la differenza fra aggettivi e verbi ci aiuta a creare una frase italiana comprensibile. Tu conosci la differenza fra aggettivi e verbi? Descrivono un ''sostantivo'' (una persona, un animale o una cosa) aggiungendo delle informazioni a questo. Potremmo definire gli aggettivi come ''parole per descrivere'' (ad esempio: ''bello, famoso, cattivo, buono, rosso, giallo...'' sono aggettivi). Adjectives describe something or someone. They describe a noun (a person, an animal, or a thing) by adding extra information to it. We could think of adjectives as “describing words” (for example: "beautiful, famous, bad, good, red, yellow"... are all adjectives).

In Italian, adjectives must agree with the noun (e.g. they have to match the singular or plural, feminine or masculine, noun).

I verbi sono ''parole d'azione''. Ci danno informazioni su cosa qualcuno (o qualcosa) fa o è. Quali azioni sta facendo (ad esempio: ''mangiare, camminare, parlare...'' sono verbi). In italiano, i verbi devono essere coniugati.	Verbs “action words.” They tell us what someone (or something) does or is. What actions he/she/it is doing (e.g. 'to eat, to walk, to speak..'. are verbs). In Italian, verbs must be conjugated (e.g. “changed according to the subject and tense”)
