CyberItalian has been providing Italian courses (from Italian I to AP level) to US colleges, high schools, middle schools and homeschooled students since January 2008

CyberItalian incorporates Italian culture throughout its language curriculum

The program is built around the life and personal development of the famous Italian character Pinocchio as he explores daily life, Italian arts and history and encounters notable Italians, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Fellini, Galileo, etc.

Tutored Courses

CyberItalian offers several kinds of Italian language programs for schools, colleges and home schooled students:

16+16 Session Full Year Course:
two semesters
6 +6 Session Intensive Course:
two semesters
8 Session Abbreviated Course:
recovery courses

These courses can be taught by:

an Italian native teacher provided by Cyberitalian. Our teachers have Italian university degrees, certified or recognized in Italy and the EU

a US certified teacher provided by your own institution. After purchasing a CyberItalian program, the school or college teacher will receive access to and training on the CyberItalian system. Courses can also be transferred to the school Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, etc.)

Type of Courses

16 + 16 session - Full Year Course

This is a full year program (Italian I, Italian II, Italian III, Italian IV) divided into two semesters.

Students complete:
- 32 online asynchronous sessions.
- 14 audio lessons with Pronunciation Guides and Voice Recorder (so students can send their recording to the teacher for correction).
- 16 assignments to be corrected by the teacher.
- 20 self-administered lessons with automatic corrections to exercises and exams.
It also includes an online progress report for each student, a Class Forum, a Final Exam, Ask-the-Prof service, Pronunciation Guides, Voice recording System.

Students who wish to cover only one semester register for 16 sessions (for a total of 16 weeks of study to be completed during the school semester).

6 + 6 Session - Intensive Course

This is an intensive program (Italian I, Italian II, Italian III, Italian IV) divided into two semesters.

Students complete:
- 12 online asynchronous sessions.
- 15 or more audio lessons with Pronunciation Guides and Voice Recorder (so students can send their recording to the teacher for correction).
- 10 assignments to be corrected by the teacher.
- 12 self-administered lessons with automatic corrections to exercises and exams.
It also includes an online progress report for each student, a Class Forum, a Final Exam, Ask-the-Prof service, Pronunciation Guides, Voice recording System.

8 Session Recovery Courses

This program is for students who need to reinforce their knowlegde of the language (Italian I, Italian II, Italian III, Italian IV) and need to make-up for their full-year course.

Students complete:
- 8 online asynchronous sessions.
- 4 audio lessons with Pronunciation Guides and Voice Recorder (so students can send their recording to the teacher for correction).
- 2 assignments (to be corrected by the teacher).
- 6 self-administered lessons with automatic corrections to exercises and exams.
It also includes an online progress report for each student, a Class Forum, a Final Exam, Ask-the-Prof service, Pronunciation Guides, Voice recording System.
