Sessione 1 (Session 1)

Follow all the recommended steps and learning activities.

Fase 1 - introduzione (introduction)

  • Get a notebook that you will use only for your Italian studies. Have always a pen available and possibly some colored markers. You will need the notebook for some activities (e.g. "Bocconcino Culturale") and to take notes. Yes, taking notes and writing key words can be very helpful in identifying the main concepts of a lesson and/or quickly reviewing them when you need. Also, writing a list of items (e.g. verb forms) can be very helpful in memorizing it. Even if you study online, always keep a notebook and a pen near your computer, and take notes.
  • Take your time to enjoy your studies and to practice the pronunciation.

Fase 2 - studio e ripasso (study and review)

Please note: In this session you don't have any graded work to do. This session is for you to get familiar with the CyberItalian website and the sounds of the Italian language. Review the Alphabet and the song but most of all organize your schedule to study. In this course, you have 8 sessions to complete, 2 assignments, 4 audio lessons and 6 self-administered lessons with exercises and exams. Work regularly and progressively. When you are done with this session, go to session 2 and complete all required work to get grades. Once you are done with session 2, move on to session 3 and so on.

If you have questions about this session post them in the Class Forum or Ask the Prof.

When you are ready, move on to the next session.

"Arrivederci!"
