Leggere a voce alta è un buon esercizio per pronunciare le parole con sicurezza ed è molto utile quando impariamo una lingua straniera. Se vogliamo un modello di lettura possiamo ispirarci ad un audiolibro o ad un audio con il testo a fronte.

Reading aloud is a good exercise for pronouncing words with confidence and is very useful when we learn a foreign language. If we want a reading model we can take inspiration from an audiobook or an audio with the related text.

In questo periodo di coronavirus, in cui le persone sono obbligate a rimanere a casa, la RAI (Radio Televisione Italiana) ha messo a disposizione del pubblico, gratuitamente, molto materiale audio e video.
La nostra raccomandazione è per I Promessi Sposi, il capolavoro di Manzoni che gli studenti italiani studiano a scuola, oppure Il Giornalino di Gian Burrasca, che racconta i disastri di un terribile ma simpaticissimo ragazzino.
Suggerimento: se ci sono descrizioni troppo lunghe non ti preoccupare. Ascolta con l'intuizione, cogli le parole chiave, aiutati con il testo scritto.
Se sei principiante forse questi libri sono troppo impegnativi per te. Utilizza audio più brevi dove puoi rallentare il suono. Troverai molti audio di questo tipo nei Bocconcini Culturali delle lezioni di Cyberitalian (vedi esempio sotto).

In this time of coronavirus, in which people are forced to stay at home, RAI (Italian Radio Television) made available to the public, free of charge, a lot of audio and video material.
Our recommendation is for I Promessi Sposi (The Betrothed), Manzoni's masterpiece that Italian students study at school, or Il Giornalino di Gian Burrasca (Gian Burrasca Diary), which narrates the disasters of a terrible but very fun little boy.
Tip: if there are too long descriptions, don't worry. Listen with your intuition, catch the keywords, help yourself with the written text.
If you are a beginner, maybe these books are too demanding for you. Use shorter audios where you can slow down the sound. You will find many audios of this type in the Cyberitalian lesson's Cultural Tidbits (see example below).
